This is the result of my short course in etching at St. Barnabas' Press. I loved experimenting in this media and hope to do more in the future.

Fixed Format exhibition, Northart, Auckland, January 2013

I have some work in the group show "Fixed Format". All works in this exhibition are on 16" x 16" (406mm x 406mmx) stretched canvases.

The Great Plate exhibition 2012

The Great Plate is now in its 3rd year as the annual fundraising event for the Quarry Arts Centre. For this innovative exhibition 100 Artists are invited to create an original work of art on a blank Great Plate.
Each artist is given a ceramic Great Plate made by a local potter to use in any way they like. Artists donate their time and creations which are put on display in the Yvonne Rust Gallery at the Quarry Arts Centre from the 2nd to the 13th of August. The plates are also auctioned off on Trademe with all proceeds going to the Quarry Arts Centre. Click here to see my plate "Janus" in the auction.

From the 13th of July to the 1st of August, Jesper Sundwall and I will be having a joint exhibition at the Railway Street Studios. We'll be showcasing figure work and still lifes in oil, charcoal and graphite.

Jesper Sundwall and I gave a lecture on our experiences learning Classical Realism on Thursday the 15th of December 2011 at Parnell Cathedral. It went really well. We got some good responses and had some interesting discussions. We even sold a couple of pieces.
